De Blasio To Set Up Check Points Into NYC And Fine Travelers $10K For Breaking Quarantine Rules

Bill de Blasio is an idiot. He is not just a liberal with a different point of view than mine. The guy defunded the police and bankrupted his city. Bill de Blasio is an idiot.

Instead of doing something to fix his budget and the rising crime in his city, de Blasio was working extra hard painting BLM murals but has now shifted his focus to stopping out-of-state travelers entering New York City.

The NY Post is reporting that travelers coming to the city “could face up to $10,000 in fines if they break New York City’s two-week quarantine rule.” Mayor de Blasio announced that checkpoints would be set up at every major entry point, including bridges and train stations.

Residents from 35 states, including the territory of Puerto Rico, are required to quarantine for two weeks if any of them want to stay in New York.

It seems as if they will have checkpoints to ensure people they don’t want in their city to cannot enter. It is kind of like building a wall to ensure the safety of your residents.

The new rule will also require travelers to fill out travel forms under threat of a $2,000 fine. If it is found that you have broken their quarantine rules, you are subjected to a $10,000 fine. It’s as if these idiots just want power and money.

They couldn’t care less about the lives of New Yorkers. The idiots in charge of this city are enjoying mooching off the government teet because they expect the federal government will bail them out of their idiotic policies.

NY Post:

“The idea is we don’t want to penalize people,” de Blasio said at his daily press briefing. “We want to educate them, we want to make sure they’re following the rules.”

He added, “The important thing is the checkpoints are going to send a very important message that this quarantine law is serious.”
