Twitter Censors Christian Publication After They Define Transgenderism

The Twitter censors remain busy at work. Recently, they suspended the account of The Daily Citizen according to reporting from DISRN.

Now you probably haven’t heard of The Daily Citizen, but you likely have heard of Focus on the FamilyThe Daily Citizen is a publication of Focus on the Family. So, clearly it is a publication with a religious bent.

What did they do to deserve the suspension? Well, they called a spade a spade in talking about President Biden’s assistant secretary of health nominee, transgender Rachel Levine.

That’s simply not permissible anymore.

Twitter has suspended the account of The Daily Citizen, a publication of Focus on the Family, for a January 19 tweet that described President Biden’s assistant secretary of health nominee, Rachel Levine, as “a transgender woman, that is, a man who believes she is a woman.”

Is that not the most simple and clear explanation of what a transgender woman is?
This tweet allegedly violates the precious “community standards” of Twitter. These standards apply almost exclusively to conservatives.
Twitter told the evangelical Christian organization that the tweet violated Twitter’s “rules against hateful conduct.”

“You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease,” Twitter told The Daily Citizen in an email. “Please note that repeated violations may lead to a permanent suspension of your account. Proceed to Twitter now to fix the issue with your account.”

Simply explaining what a transgender woman is, in remarkably clear terms, does not in any way threaten, harass, or promote violence against anyone.

Twitter is a complete cesspool. They very, very selectively apply their standards. And in this case, the tweet didn’t even really violate their standards. However, the phraseology did hurt feelings I suppose.
