Video: Obama Gets Real About Kamala’s Big Problem—Reveals Just How Desperate the Dems Are

The Democrats are pulling out all the stops, signaling their increasing desperation as they bring in heavyweights like Barack Obama to rally support for Kamala Harris. In a fiery speech in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Obama came out swinging against Donald Trump but also turned his frustration toward an unexpected group—Black men, accusing them of not backing Harris in 2024.

Obama’s speech at a Black Voters for Harris event was meant to energize a key demographic, but it only highlighted Harris’s struggle to gain traction, particularly among Black men. “We have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters in our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running,” Obama admitted, his frustration visible. His remarks were direct: “That seems to be more pronounced with the brothas,” he said, urging Black men to support Harris because she “understands” their struggles.
“We have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters in our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running,” Obama said, frowning.

“Now, I also want to say that seems to be more pronounced with the brothas. So if you don’t mind, just for a second, I’m going to speak to y’all for a minute.”
Then what he offered was a typical blatant appeal to race, defining why they should vote for Harris not by what she has done or what she would do to help the country, but by she grew up like them and “understands” the same struggles.

I don’t know about you think, but it sounds to me like he’s struggling to whip up enthusiasm.
Video below:

He sounds pretty nervous to me, and he’d be right to be, given all the signs and polls. It sounds like he knows he can’t even be convinced of the people in the room who are already supposed to be the “convinced.” The responses on X from many black people were also not receptive to being talked to like that by Obama.

But it’s not just Black men Harris is losing. The once-loyal Rust Belt, including states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, has turned cold on her. Democratic internal polls show Harris trailing Trump by three points in Wisconsin—a critical state that could swing the entire election. She’s also hemorrhaging support from men overall, union workers, Hispanics, and even the far-left.

Obama’s appeal to racial solidarity might have worked in 2008, but today it seems to fall flat, especially when Harris has done little to differentiate herself from Joe Biden. Many voters remember better economic times under Trump, and Harris’s failure to articulate how her administration would be different isn’t helping.

With polls turning sour and enthusiasm at an all-time low, even Obama seems to be struggling to whip up excitement. The Democrats’ battle to save Kamala Harris is growing tougher by the day.
